Children Obesity

An Urgent Message On Sugar

Moms, the sweet treat, to most children it's delicious and intoxicating.  We love our Sugar. And our Children are no exception.  Their physiology gets ready to handle whats coming, as does ours.  There is a direct link between Obesity and SugarFor a more detailed Informational Report

The most recent estimates peg the intake of Sugar (and other caloric sweetners, such as corn syrup, honey, and fructose) in the United States at 150 Lbs per person per year.  At the turn of the Century, this was 2 Lbs per person per year

Moms, guess who are consuming the most Sugar of all.  Yes, far and away it' our kids, however, should it make you feel  better, the young men between 14-24 are consuming the most.  But when did they acquire their taste for Sugar

Mom, look at the youth of today; obesity in children is escalating, doubling in just the last decade.  Mom, don't let the so called experts tell you it's lack of exercise, and the consumption of dietary fats, although it contributes.

Simply, fat children turn into fat adults, and that's bad enough, because statistics bear out that fat adults , frequently become sick adults.  The disease we once called adult-onset diabetes has now begun to turn up in children as young as 8-10 years old.

Mom's, Sugar in all it's forms is causing this epidemic in both children and adults, and restriction of Sugar in all it's forms will end it.  For more detail.   Let's stop the desire for this dangerous powderSugar has been shown in studies to suppress the Immune System and to contribute to a weakened defense against infections.  Simply put, Sugar in all it's forms provides Children, or for that matter Adults, absolutely no nutritional value.

For some alternatives to sweet treats without sugar's I've found an excellent book with some excellent receipes.
